I am a Philadelphia portrait and automotive photographer creating images for editorial and commercial publications...Now that the search engines know who I am, here's a bit more about me...

WHAT I AM:
CURIOUS adj : having a desire to learn or know more about something or someone

WHAT I DO:
STORYTELLER n : someone who tells or writes stories

I became a photographer to tell stories, to give people a peek into the lives of others and to experience new things myself. I've always been fascinated by the technical aspects of cameras and lighting but I learned quickly that a camera can be a "master key" into other worlds. With a camera in hand, I've been given access to things I never thought possible, from the rooftops of Arlington to the depths of a WWII battleship. Each shoot is a small glimpse of a life that is standard to one but incredible to the rest of us.

My curiosity has led me to what I consider my greatest professional accomplishment, the American Veteran Project (americanveteranproject.com). The American Veteran Project was created to record, preserve, and share the stories of US military veterans in a more immersive and intimate manner than today’s oral histories. This project has allowed me to see first-hand how valuable our freedoms are and the lengths a small percentage of our population will go to protect them for all of us.

So that's who Andy Marchese is, a curious storyteller. Tell me about the story you want to tell, I'd love to help.
